Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: February 8, 2026

At The Don Cigar Catering, we take great pride in preparing a bespoke experience for your event. Because our services involve securing premium inventory and scheduling professional staff in advance, we adhere to the following refund policy:

1. Deposits

  • All bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your event date.

  • This deposit covers administrative costs, the reservation of our staff, and the procurement of specific cigar inventory for your event.

2. Cancellations by the Client

  • More than 30 Days Notice: If you cancel your event more than 30 days before the scheduled date, any payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit will be fully refunded.

  • 14 to 30 Days Notice: Cancellations made within this window are eligible for a 50% refund of the remaining balance (excluding the deposit).

  • Less than 14 Days Notice: Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable. At this stage, inventory has been finalized and staff schedules have been locked.

3. Rescheduling

We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to reschedule your event:

  • Requests made more than 14 days in advance will allow your deposit to be transferred to a new date (subject to availability) within one calendar year.

  • A rescheduling fee may apply to cover logistics and administrative changes.

4. Weather & Venue Issues

  • Our services often take place outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, it is the Client's responsibility to provide a covered or indoor alternative.

  • The Don Cigar Catering does not offer refunds for a client's inability to provide a suitable smoking area. If we are unable to set up due to lack of a designated area, the full service fee still applies.

5. Product Quality

If you are unsatisfied with the quality of the cigars provided, please notify our on-site lead during the event. While we cannot offer refunds for cigars that have already been cut and smoked, we will do our absolute best to rectify any issues on the spot to ensure your satisfaction.
